I kept hearing about blogs and so years ago I started one.  Ha!  I never post in it but I felt complete, just like the having a twitter account.  Oh, and a pinterest account.  But there are some pretty cool things going on and some thoughts I think are worthy of sharing.

The first is our Village of Navarre Business Association. VoNBA for short.  Yes, nearly 2 years later we're beginning to say it without feeling Swedish.  It may sound funny but it is easier than saying 'Village of Navarre Business Association'  repeatedly.  Say it a few times and you'll get used to it: VoNBA.... VoNBA...  Okay, it takes awhile.

We are up to some pretty exciting things, as I said.  We have a computer Guru named Matt and he's working on our website.  And Vicki is working with an accountant to get our 501 (c)6.  And Barb, Renee, Kris and Latecia are working on our participation for the garage sale days.  And other things are clicking along.  It's very cool. Very VoNBA.

But I'm stoked about the plans to make Main Street Square look better.  If you live in the Village (and if not, like why not?)  you may have some favorite spots here - like Navarre Bethlehem Park or Center Street or our Y or even Rochester Square but few of us like to show off Main Street Square.  We have some great businesses there - fun to visit, very walkable... but we all agree the square needs a facelift.   So we're talking about that.  And dreaming about that.  And researching about that.  It's SUPER exciting.  Stay tuned as the life in the Village gets even better.  Here's hoping!

Spring Spring Spring

With St. Patrick's Day comes the first day of spring - right around the corner! Everyone I see CAN'T WAIT for longer days, warmer weather and shorts! lol



Great things are on the horizon here - we're playing with new smoothie mixes so new from Torani we can't get any real info on them. So far the peach and the strawberry are mmmmm big hits!

And new product is on it's way, finally the winter quarter is almost history and fun new stuff is coming. I can't wait!



I think tomorrow I'll have green gooey butter cookies and a peppermint brownie. Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone!
